Kappa Delta President

Elle Pickering

“Being president I am responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the sorority's members. I oversee chapter operations, manage meetings, and serve as a liaison between the sorority and its national organization. I also promote unity, uphold Kappa Delta values, and fosters a positive and inclusive environment for all members!”

Vice President

Rachel Paul

“I am the Vice President. I am the right hand man to Elle but I work with  all the positions on council to make everything run smoothly. I coordinate with the alumni and school to stay updated and informed with chapter activities. I also manage the memberships of the chapter as well as make sure everyone is meeting there deadlines. I am currently working with a small team to redecorate and improve the house and can’t wait for our everyone to see the finished product! I am currently living in the house and am excited to get closer with all my house girls and for our upcoming philanthropy week!!”

“I’m Laura, the Vice President of Finance for Kappa Delta! I handle and oversee all of the chapter’s finances and make sure we budget precisely in order to keep our dues at a reasonable amount. I also work with many of my fellow council members to fund all of the awesome things we get to do together.”

Alexis Whitfield

“Hello I’m Alexis, I’m am the Vice President of Learning and Development of the epsilon pi chapter of Kappa Delta. My position focus on all new member relations. Planing events and overall getting to know each new member in efforts for a smooth transition into kappa delta.”

VP Recruitment & Marketing

Ainsley Hathaway

“I am currently Head of Recruitment and Marketing and I absolutely love it! My job is to lead Kappa Delta through the recruitment process and effectively promote our chapter throughout the Virginia Tech community. We can’t wait to welcome the PNMs with open arms this year and share our values of friendship and most importantly, confidence.”

 

Panhellenic Delegate

“As the Panhellenic delegate, I serve as an external officer representing Kappa Delta among the Panhellenic chapters at Virginia Tech. I’m responsible for ensuring effective communication between our chapter, other sororities, and PHC. I work to plan and implement events for Kappa Delta to be involved and give back to our community.”

VP Inclusion

Maeve Waller

“As Vice President of Inclusion, I hold many roles and get to work with lots of different teams and people within KD. I lead a diversity, equity, and inclusion team of 11 people to plan events, and workshops, and promote DEI within our chapter. In addition, I am responsible for managing and preparing for any risks at our chapter events and all year long. I also work with an accountability board to uphold the standards of our chapter as well as be a confidential place for all members to share comfortably. I also work with our Academic, Health & Wellness, and Sisterhood Chairs to hold bonding events, workshops, wellness events, and many other fun things!”
