OUR COMMUNITY IS NOTHING WITHOUT BLACK HISTORY.
As this year’s Black History month comes to an end, take a second to reflect. It has been a year of immense growth and challenges. A year where systematic racism was protested, petitioned against, and recognized. It was a wake up call many people needed. Yet, the fight isn’t even close to over. Do not let the momentum stop here. This is not a trend- Black history should be celebrated year round.
Over the years, and this month, many of our sisters took it upon themselves to learn about, grow from, and discuss the importance of black history.
